1. Heart

Not many know but more people die of smoking than those who die from all cancers combined. Smoking is one of the main causes of heart disease. It leads to narrowing and hardening of arteritis, which lead to thickening in blood, causing clots that finally leads to a heart attack.

2. Joints

Are you experiencing inflammation and pain in your joints? If you are a smoker, this problem can be rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It has been seen that the medication of this problem doesn’t works on people who are into smoking, and the reasons of this are unknown.

3. Eyes

Smokers double up their chance to suffer from macular degeneration, which is an eye condition. Due to this problem, the central vision required for reading, writing and seeing people, gets destroyed. Also, the chances of cataracts and blurry vision get up by three times.

Males who are into smoking have a chance to suffer from the problem of erectile dysfunction (ED). The more the person smokes, the problem can only get worse. Another problem that comes due to smoking in males is testicular cancer. Female smokers get prone to cervical cancer.

7. Brain

You are 3 times more prone to suffer a stroke (a blood clot in the brain), if you smoke. This can lead to several health issues such as trouble in walking, blurred vision, facial paralysis, and sometimes even death. Chances of high blood pressure, causing a cerebral aneurysm, also increase. In this problem, the wall of a blood vessel in brain inflates. This vessel can burst or leak, spilling the blood to the nearby tissues.

8. Lungs

90 percent of the time, lung cancer is caused by smoking, which can be seen in men and women both. Smoking is the cause of cancer of a number of other organs including mouth, rectum, kidney, colon, liver, stomach, pancreas, and bladder. It is also of the main reason of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which is a group of diseases that damages the air sacs in our lungs.

9. Digestive System

When one smokes, he increases his chances of getting prone to problems related to digestive system including pancreatitis, Crohn’s disease, Peptic ulcers, and colon polyps. The chances of getting type 2 diabetes that harms the pancreas and liver also get high.
