Let’s have a brief discussion on above:
Ultrasound-
Ultrasound is a very common test that is mainly advised by doctors in case of some internal health issues that are related to stomach or infertility. It is one of the those tests that can give you a detailed information on polyps or fibroid tumors, presence of endometriosis, abnormalities in the shape of your cervix or uterus and other concerns linked to structural, anatomical and several medical issues. Ultrasound might help and save you from long medical procedures and complicated tests required during infertility.
Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)
Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is a capability or a unique type of X-Ray that completely examines the image of uterus and fallopian tubes. Blocking of fallopian tube is one of the major causes for infertility in females. Doctors use dye to check whether fallopian tubes are blocked or not. The fallopian tubes generally get blocked due to many reasons such as scarring, congenital abnormalities or endometriosis.
Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy-
Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy are alike. During both the practices, doctors use a camera that is connected to a tiny surgical instrument which helps to repair or improve any anatomical or structural problem found in the fallopian tubes or uterus. You never know, improvement in any these can support infertility treatment.
Ovarian Reserve Testing (ORT)
The probability of infertility is generally found to be in women 35 years and older in age. Around 40% of women may be the cause of no child. But, it’s a not big issue, it is simply curable.
When a woman goes for an infertility test, the first and the central concern of the doctor is to check if she has a low egg reserve. On the third day of her menstrual cycle, the doctor will test FSH and estradiol levels. Later, she will be given prescribed medicine clomiphene citrate that quickens egg release and then again on 10th day she has to go for test FSH and estradiol levels.
After all this, there are further tests recommended on the basis of earlier tests, only if required.
Detailed physical check-up
Detailed physical test is not something new or difficult. People do get their routine medical check-ups that include all the tests. A full physical test can play a key role in early infertility testing; as the major concern is also regarding her age and health. Moreover, health issues like obesity and diabetes can help us before, then they get more complex and create barriers in fertility procedure. Before you get a doubt and set your mind for some expensive and complicated medical procedures, go for a simple physical examination.
Sperm and Semen Analysis-
As already mentioned above, the biological issues might be from both sides individually or may be due to both. 40% is infertility is found in males which is majorly due to low sperm count, sperm that does not swim properly or unusually shaped sperm. The essential reasons for infertility can be identified by sperm analysis. Further, diagnostic procedures are suggested if there is no sperm found. Through the tests, doctors can clear out if there is any genetic issue, blockages or anatomical abnormalities that hinders the sperm to appear in semen.
